To: Savannah R-III Substitutes - New and Existing

I hope this letter finds your summer going well.

Savannah R-III substitute teachers are counted on throughout the school year to help student learning to be continuous and uninterrupted when the classroom teacher is absent.  Over the past several years, it has become increasingly difficult to secure adequate numbers of substitute teachers causing principals, counselors, teachers, librarians, etc. to be pulled from their duties to cover classrooms.  These issues along with others have led to Savannah R-III enlisting the services of Penmac Education Staffing to enhance our program.

This new relationship with Penmac opens many opportunities to the district as well as each individual teacher.  Penmac has worked throughout Missouri to provide staffing in many districts but will be new to the northwest region.  Partnering with Penmac will have many benefits to not only the district but you as well!

I want to make things perfectly clear.  WE WANT YOU TO CONTINUE SERVING AS A SUBSTITUTE TEACHER FOR SAVANNAH R-III!  Savannah R-III maintains significant control in the partnership.  Penmac will focus on the recruitment, training, and scheduling of staff.  A list of Savannah R-III substitutes has been requested and Penmac intends to contact you to introduce you to their program.  If you do not wish your contact information to be shared with Penmac, please let me know ASAP via email at brian.hansen@bharatsurgicals.com.  

All current substitutes will be grandfathered in, but Penmac needs you to fill out the application so they have your information.  Please do so at www.penmac.com/teach.  They will be hosting a mandatory informational and training meeting on Tuesday, August 3, 2021, from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm or 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm. You may choose which session you would like to attend. Please RSVP which session you will be attending to kc@penmaceducation.com.
